Archival Photographic Prints

Tom Gamache offers signed and dated, state of the art, large format, framed and unframed, giclee photographic exhibition prints. When framed, the prints are floated against an archival backing and fronted with an archival black mat. The framed version includes a sedate, burnished, matte black finished 1” wide aluminum frame artfully displaying the image. Framed prints are shipped with a break-proof Plexiglas cover. Sizes and prices of prints vary (minimum 20" X 24" to murals and panoramas (23 feet by 5 feet) and larger.

Tom Gamache giclee photographic prints achieve the highest level of quality and longevity. They are individually produced by custom order. He works with both a master scanner and a master printer to first create a large enhanced digital memory file (700GB or more per image on a highly specialized Aztec Premier 8000 dpi laser drum scanner) exactingly true to the original large format transparency. The Hewlett Packard HP Z6100PS, a dedicated, state of the art, large format archival inkjet printer, taking its printing instructions from the file, then transfers tens of billions of miniscule "sprays" of pigment ink in precise position onto the highest quality, longest lasting archival fine art watercolor paper available that has been especially prepared and manufactured for photographic pictures. Each print is closely inspected by the artist, hand signed and dated. Sizes and prices vary: minimum 20 inches X 24 inches to 5 foot by 25 foot (and larger) murals and panoramas.
